In terms of my working process, these images are the closest to my personal artistry. I heavily take inspiration from other artists and integrate their styles into my own work. The artwork in this photo is from the Light Gray Art Lab, a gallery in Minneapolis, during a summer course I took at MCAD. The images are all postcards from local artists with the left cards being from a series where artists depicted a recipe that had importance to them. The right card is an illustration that represents women's empowerment. These images, as well as any other creations by artists, always serve as a point of artistic growth for me. The art I create is influenced by art styles that inspire me, techniques that I enjoy, and more. Whenever I’m stuck on an art piece, I can always rely on looking at other artists for inspiration.
